When the party’s over it’s a lovely idea to give the guests a thoughtful little gift as a reminder of the special day and to thank them for coming. We’ve got a few quick and easy ideas for fabulous party favours.
Bucket and spade favours.
These little bucket and spades are a novel idea for a party favour and fit superbly with the theme – just add sweets, bubbles or anything you fancy.

Fishy playdough.
Playdough is always a big hit with the little ones, so why not try this cheap and easy idea for a favour. Simply make some no-cook play dough, or you could just buy some if you’re short on time. Then place the dough into a bag, add sequins and fish-shaped cutters and tie with a ribbon – sorted.

Starfish cookies.
These starfish cookies are a great favour idea. Wrap in cellophane, add a curly ribbon and a personalised label.
Fish-in-a-bag soap.
If you have got the time why not give your guests an extra special treat with
Seaside sweets.
These simple sweet bags are so easy to make. Just place a handful of blue jelly sweets into a bag and add Goldfish crackers “swimming” on top.

Beach balls.
A really, cheap and easy idea for a favour is a simple beach ball. The guests will have hours of fun playing with this simple toy and it will remind them of the fun seaside party too.

Beachy colouring pages.
There’s a huge variety of beach-themed colouring pages available online. Just download and print out a selection, then put them into a party bag along with some chunky wax crayons.
Don’t forget the cake.
You’ve always got to add the obligatory birthday cake to the party favour and this sandcastle cake looks perfect, with four layers of chocolate sponge and white chocolate buttercream with crushed digestive biscuits for the sand effect – just don’t forget to add some extra for the mums and dads too!
