Throw a great birthday party for your Chuggington fan with these great party food ideas. There are loads of fun ways you can present the party food using Chuggington trains as your inspiration. No need to spend big, just invest a little time and your little one will be chew chew chewing away at their fabulous party!
Chug Chug, Chew Chew!
Have some fun with the labels for your party utensils- a simple train sign and ‘chew chew’ for the forks and napkins and some bottle wraps saying ‘chug chug’ for the water. This would also work on paper cups and plates.
Stop light crispie cakes
I’ve not met a child yet who doesn’t like crispie cakes and these ones are perfect for a train theme. Cut the crispies into rectangles, stick on some traffic light color candies and pop them on a stick. A fun Chuggington theme label adds to the theme.
Watermelon train kabobs
I love the way this food is presented in little wooden train carriages complete with wheels (use coffee cup or jar lids) but the star of the show is the watermelon slices shaped with a train cookie cutter. Healthy and fun all in one!
Table train tracks
Another cute train presentation for the party snacks. Just tape a track along your buffet table using electrical tape or washi tape and then set up your carriage bowls. Little labels add on the wheels.
All aboard the sandwich train
These easy sandwiches are made perfect for the theme by using a train cookie cutter to get the fun shape. Make up a batch and get stamping. For even more fun how about using a bit of food dye to get the sandwiches in Chuggington colors?
Wheelie good pasta salad
Don’t think you can make the pasta salad fit the theme? Just use these cute wheel shaped pastas to make it perfect.
Need to stop at the station for a refuel? Have a water tower water dispenser and diesel fuel for the squash. I also love how there’s some cute little trains underneath the water tower.
Make this sweet treat using wafer cookies, some icing and a jelly candy.
Keep the cake rolling with this tasty cupcake train. All you need is loads of cupcakes, some mini rolls, Oreos, and crackers. Decorate your cupcakes with diffrent candies and sprinkles for the different ‘loads’. Easy to assemble and perfect to pop into a favor bag at the end of the party.
Stop light kabobs
Dig out the melon baller and have some fun making these fruity stop light kebabs. Different flavors of melon are perfect to create these stop lights, pop them on a skewer with a fun trainer sticker and you’re all set.
